Cherrl Harmon founded Knitwerks, knit shop & boutique in 2006.
An avid knitter and weaver, Cherrl opened Knitwerks both to mix business with pleasure. She has a high commitment to friendly and helpful customer service and quality. Knitwerks is not just a store that sells knitting supplies - it's a place of knitting.
Cherrl has been knitting for over 30 years. Cherrl has been a member of the creative community for many years. She is an experienced teacher and designer and her work has been featured at the annual One of A Kind Show at the Merchandise Mart. Cherrl has also produced garments for several plays at The Chicago Shakespeare Theatre. She is one of the original members of The Windy City Knitting Guild, which was organized in 1989.
