CARDI-WRAP KNIT-ALONG
Thursdays

It will be a cardigan, no a wrap, no it will be a cardi-wrap. Knit a one of a kind cardi-wrap that is an all in
one piece that you can wear in a variety of ways. The cardi-wrap is just perfect for an evening out on the town, the movies or dinner with friends.
Beginning Knitting

Students will learn the basics of knitting. Techniques covered in class include casting on, binding off, knitting and purling, ribbing, increasing and decreasing.

Easy Lace Scarf
Wednesday 6:00 8:00 pm
July 2nd
Knitting lace can be great fun! Learn how to knit lace with mohair yarn and large needles. The class will teach you how to correctly perform yarn overs. You will begin a lace scarf in this class.
$20 per student
Entrelac Scarf
Wednesday 6:00 8:00pm
July 9th
In this class, you will learn how to knit using the entrelac method. You will begin knitting a scarf from beautiful yarn that will show off your knitting efforts. Entrelac creates a fabric with a basket weave appearance.

Bead Knitting Sampler
Wednesday 6:00 8:00 pm
July 16th
In this class, you will make a sample with beads. You will learn the pre-strung and knitting the beads in your knitting as ways to add beads to your projects. Use beads as a fringe or in your knitting to make decorative & creative garments. A beading kit is included in the class fee.

Sea Lettuce Scarf

July 23rd & July 30th
Are you tired of knitting the same type of scarves on a daily basis? In this class, you will begin knitting Lucy Neatbys wonderful sea lettuce scarf. The techniques that you will learn are picot edges, short rows and a provisional cast on.
$35 per student
Class Policies
Pre-registration is necessary for all classes. Payment for classes at time of registration reserves your space in our classes. Due to scheduling difficulties, there are no make-up classes. All materials must be purchased at Knitwerks. Classes are limited to 6 students.
